Hypnosis

Hypnotic or suggestive therapy is one of the oldest of all therapeutic techniques. In 1995 the British Medical Association endorsed the practice of hypnosis in medical school education, since then it has become a valuable addition to conventional medical treatment.

Hypnosis is a mental state of focus and communication that allows change to happen instantly. With Hypnosis you experience trance, which is a naturally occurring state.
When attending a hypnotherapy session you are guided into hypnosis by the therapist who then invokes and manages this hypnotic state which then facilitates change in the minds patterning.
On reaching this level of trance your mind can function much more effectively so that with the help of the hypnotherapist we are able to look at problems differently and then discover solutions to those problems.

There is no big mystery around self-hypnosis. In fact you could say that all hypnosis (whether under the guidance of a hypnotherapist or not) is self-hypnosis. This is because in order to go into hypnosis you listen to the words of the Hypnotherapist and then interpret them and then react to them.

As you decide whether to follow the words of the hypnotherapist, you put yourself in hypnosis or not. Therefore you are in control. Self hypnosis is an excellent way of taking charge of your life. You are the one that decides when and - where to do it and what you are going to use it for. You therefore, guide the speed of the changes you
